Just to get this clear in my mind...

Is a Die Clash the result of the obverse and reverse dies striking each other without a planchette between them, resulting in a mark on one of the dies which subsequently gets transferred to coins.

thanks

.....resulting in one or more marks, sometimes on the two dies ( obverse and reverse ).

More, sometimes, we can find also double, triple.... die clash on the obverse and on reverse of coins.

Found this hanging 3 tonight, going through the rest of my 60's coinage currently

1963-Hanging-3

Funny thing, I could see this with just my eye, not magnified.
