Coin Wrappers

Fatboy,I have Cleveland Central Bank and Cleveland Trust but only in cents,so nickel wrappers or whatever would be appreciated. I would gladly take them off your hand.

Before he became famous as a civil war general, Sherman went to California (SF?) and opened a bank. Relatives tried to talk him into returning to Ahia to run the family business, salt mines in Athens.

In addition to banks that get eaten up by megabanks, I can think of wrappers that will only become scarcer over time.

First, the $20 wrappers for the large size dollars. Since they haven't been made since 1978, they're not many floating around.

Another one that's even rarer is the $20 wrapper for modern dollars. When they first came out, some maufacturers figured they'd be 50 twenty coin rolls to the bag, but for some unknown reason, 25 coins became the standard.

Next would be half dollar wrappers. Nuff said.

I've also seen half-roll wrappers of cents and I think nickels.

Then there are the Canadian wrappers that are just sheets of paper. When you wrap coins in them, different denominations allow different printing to show up through die cut holes, so only one kind of wrapper is needed.

How about security wrappers? I've seen snap together clear plastic ones, and my favorite, paper with a clear stripe along the length. No way to slip in slugs.
