Great looking album! I love the way it looks with circulated coins, even more so because when I start mine, it'll be the only way I could afford to do it. For now at least. Definitely an album that will take a few years to complete. Great job!

Nice to see that someone else is working on a lower end 7070. I started a similar one about 6 months after I came to the forum. Progress was pretty good the first year but slowed way down once I got the easier holes filled & has been at a standstill for at least 6 months. I'm going to try to take some pictures of mine this weekend in the hope that it will get me moving forward again.

Quote: & has been at a standstill for at least 6 months. I haven't touched mine in over a year as far as adding coins to it. I have had other projects like restoring a camaro with my son and a few other Morgans I really didn't need but had to have that took all my money during that time

There is no reason to be in a hurry!
The 1827 Bust Half Dollar (bought October 2010) was the first 7070 addition in over two years.
And that addition in 2008 ended an eight year hiatus!

Thanks for posting the pics jbuck. Your 7070 looks great. I need to try my hand at building a 7070 too.

The Twenty Cent Piece is my white whale. I found the perfect and I mean perfect one at a show about two years ago. The price was right. It was not in a slab (I have never had to crack one out yet, but I fear that day is inevitable). It was from a dealer I trusted (they have been at the shows longer than I have been going to them). I hesitated because it was still very big money for me. I regret it. By the next show, it was gone. That being said, the old dollars, especially the Trade dollar, scare me the most (see the slab statement above).

Quote: Anyway, here's my VERY CIRCULATED, and still not anywhere close to complete 7070 Set: Looking good! Quote: I even forgot to put something behind the pages, so I had to go black out the empty ones in Photoshop...oh well :) Do not sweat it. I guess my shop skills are better than I thought. There was no white sheet of paper in my photos... I had to do the same thing as you!
