Post ANY coin with verdigris. It doesn't matter if it's your coin or not. The best/most interesting picture will win a regular size (15-mL) bottle of VERDI-CAREâ„¢. RULES - Only ONE entry per person (so find an interesting pic) - Not a contest for a coin with the worst verdigris, just the most interesting to me. - Use ANY picture, you don't have to own the coin. - ENDS 11MAR2011 at what ever time I choose. GOOD LUCK and SHOW ME THE PICS!

This is my before picture....I have already did one VerdiCare Treatment on this one...and I think I might try a second application, before I reveal the results. I have not found much info on this token for the past 3 years...except that I think it was from the Stratford Theater in Chicago and that the Stratford is where Bob Hope made his debut. Here is a Pic of the Stratford back in the day. The building is no longer there.

This is my 1935 Costa Rica 25 Centimos coin with a Die Crack on each side. On the Obv, the crack is to the left of the 1 in the date and on the Rev, it's from the bottom of the B to the rim. The verdigris is sort of here, there and everywhere!
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

Found this one today roll searching BadThad ... a 1989 zincoln in bad need of some Verdi-Care love. Seems proper for the contest ... along with a made-up story of drama and suspense from me ... soooo ... to the story .... Honorable President MS63RD Lincoln is holding in there ... surrounded on the obverse by the enemies of corrosion and ultimate death. Waves of darkness are attacking from all sides ... and the green crud has already assumed control of the lower battlefields. The enemy of corrosion has nearly consumed the reverse battlefields ... some loyal brown soldiers remain in rear-guard defense ... but they will soon be defeated unless help arrives soon. Holding the coin to my ear .... and listening very closely (no stimulants involved here) ... I can hear Lincoln saying ... "We are close to defeat ... where is the Verdi-Care?" The battle is being waged ... can anyone help Mr. MS63RD Linclon? Enjoy the photo ... David

Abraham O'Lincoln, the 16th president and first Irish president, was looking forward to celebrating his first St Paddy's Day as president. He had ordered the White House fountain dyed green. He was wearing the green. And he could almost taste the nice corned beef sandwich on rye. He wasn't a big fan of rye bread, despite being Irish, but that's all that was available this year. The White House wheat garden had never ripened. Nothing went better with corned beef than some green beer, or even some Irish whiskey. Both were a risky proposition with his wife Mary around. She heartily disapproved of him imbibing at all. Maybe he could use the Secret Service to keep Mary away long enough for him to partake. After a few moments of thought, he realized it was not worth the risk. In all honesty, he couldn't go behind his wife's back. In patient resignation, he reached for the Verdi-Care and began to clean up.
