I'm not an expert on these but I'll give it a shot... AU-58, really close to MS. There is slight rub on the obverse on Liberty's knee and a slight amount on the shield. On the reverse, slight rub on the eagle body and wing. A GREAT looking coin though, absolutely stunning with so much Luster still there.

I am going to guess AU-50, because I think those are wear spots on Liberty's head and on the edge of the eagle's wing. (Keep in mind I have absolutely no experience grading silver coins..lol)

I agree with AU-50, is it just me, or is there a little wear on the toes or not?

The wear on the sheild actually doesn't look as bad as in the pic.... It still has the bars in the center.

Regarding coinsearcher83's comment:
The wear on the head means that the coin will not receive a FH (full head) designation. However in terms of the grade otherwise, I'm not sure how much of an impact it would have. I've seen plenty of high AU and MS SLQ's with far less detail in the head. I'd prob still go with AU-50 though based on the reverse - the obverse seems slightly higher.

Yeah, I had another post about it. I bought some rolled coin from a women while on line at my bank, just wanted to save us both some time in line. Worked out well

Rest in Peace

WOW! Excellent find for 25 cents! Not only silver value but a lot of numismatic value on top of it! I would grade it AU-50 as well.
