It is stamped on the back .925, or sterling. That fine print is hard for my old eyes without a loop.

lol I go to some garage sales because I find treasure hunting really interesting...but I dont really know what I'm doing and I usually just see a bunch of kids toys, dvds and cds...maybe I should try harder huh? lol

My dad has had some cool finds. He got a CIL blasting machine for $50 and it was appraised at $375...and a bunch of records (probably 150 of them) he bought them all for $100. He researched them and he found one record worth over $100. So he took them into a record store and the pile of records were worth $985.00. He did sell them for about $850.00. He has found some old coins but to my knowledge he hasnt had them appraised yet.
Rest in Peace

I was at a yard sale one afternoon (after all the "experts" had picked things over), and saw a little jewelry box with a 14k ring, clearly marked on the ring and tag. $2.

Yeah I went back over there to see if there was anything I missed the first time and I found some sterling silver cuff links marked 25 cents.
Rest in Peace

Wow! Nice find, Fred. Well done! Guess you don't always need a pan or a sluice box to find real gold!
