Are there known doubled reverse Abe's for any years earlier then 1985? That's why I posted the 1971 to see if the statue (Abe) was doubled. It my book it says from 1985 on you can find doubled reverse Abes. Abe seems to have 4 knees on this 1971 which is why I asked the question. Report this Post to the Staff

Calss 9 hub doubling (what caused the vast majority of the statue doubled dies) started with the single squeeze die making technique in 1997. I personally have never seen a confirmed example of the same type of doubling from before that date. Report this Post to the Staff
