I'm guessing trail dies aren't real popular or they are rare because I haven't seen any posted. Here is my first find.I have a second but can't quite ID it so I'll wait a bit.

I actually think these are sweet. I found one about a week ago in a bank roll and 2 x 2'd it. It is my favorite find so far.

Maineman750:

Congrats!
Great Find!

Nice trail dies coming off of the top of E.Pluribus Unum also. (www.traildies.com)

Trail Dies/Wavy Steps are very popular (IMHO)

I'm always on the look-out for them.

I've been fortunate to have found the top 2, in addition to other's in and out of the top 50.

# 1. 1999P-1DER-015WST- (I was credited by BJ Neff with finding Stage D on this extremely hard coin to find.
# 2. 1999P-1DER-033T

Both coins are presently at ANACS getting attributed.
When I get them back, I'll post pics.

Yeah, they are popular (and cool!), but are hard to find.

John1 seems to have cornered the market with Chuckster. He also post a lot of trail dies. I've only found a few, but at least one of them was only the second die listed for a '92P. So that was cool.

That's a nice one!

I think I'll relax while you're trying to catch up! (LOL)

Good luck- I really hope you find a top 10, like the 015!

Nice find Maineman750. I have posted a few of these but they don't seem to get much of a response here. I really like finding these and they have a pretty good book value too. I have found many more then I have posted because they are hard to photograph for me and because of little interest here on CCF.Congrats on your find and I hope you find more.

When I do finally find a 95DDO, your're going to be the first to know about it!

Round two coming up.

Have a great week-end!

I'm with John1 - I've posted a couple but haven't gotten much response. I still look for them and love to find them. My best find is the 1994P-1DER-023T, #5 on the top 50. I do have a hard time picking out the wavy steps, though. I've never found one of theose and probably wouldn't know if I did.
