sn31 Pillar of the Community United States 773 Posts	Posted 10/09/2006 7:18 pm Thingee, I have this same coin,only mine is marked "B' instead of "A".Certainly not in as good of condition as yours is,but if you will search the world coins forum,where I have posted about it,Sap has some interesting info regarding this. :) sn31. toast Pillar of the Community Australia 1091 Posts	Posted 10/09/2006 7:29 pm I have an 1855D mint mark coin but not in as good condition as yours. Pretty good for a coin over 150 years old. The "A" is for the Paris mint, while "D is for Lyon mint. Report this Post to the Staff

toast Pillar of the Community Australia 1091 Posts	Posted 10/10/2006 01:21 am Sn31, The "B" mintmark is for Rouen mint. There was also a "BB", "K", "MA" and "W" mintmarks for the year of 1855. Report this Post to the Staff
