Well, ANACS graded it as F12. Hoping to get to at least 20 since of the good sized price jump. Still very happy. Will get pics up as soon as I get them in the mail.

You caught ANACS on a bad day if the coin pictured on the previous page received an F12 grade. I can honestly say, "that coin has more meat on it than any F12 I've ever seen".

ANACS has been really tough on grading lately. I wonder if they take in consideration the price jump between grades? Since the price jump from $41 (F12) to $102 (VF) in Numismedia. This has happened to many of my coins graded through them.

That's crazy. I thought for sure it was a VF coin. Either way you've done well buying it at melt. :)

Whoa, tough break from ANACS. I stand by a solid VF grade for this appealing original coin. If I were shopping for a mid-grade Barber half I'd be happy to pay VF-20 money for a similar specimen.
