I'm not the greatest at taking pics, but I try taking them at angles sometimes just for that reason... I think it's hard to capture toning in a pic, but it's probably from my lack of experience and a non-existant camera budget Report this Post to the Staff

louie_two_bits Valued Member United States 70 Posts	Posted 04/12/2011 01:07 am I would follow SD's recommendation...angle the light; not the coin with the use of an axial lighting setup.
