Well the oldest coin in my collection is a 1852 large cent...already missed that.

the 1857 flying eagle is the oldest coin in my collection, except for an 1804 Half Cent that I bought out of the $5 type coin bin.

Thanks ikandigit. Yes, this is certainly in my opinion, one of the most beautiful Danish coins ever minted. I just love those big old heavy silver coins.

I'm on hold until 1841. I hope someone else has a better specimen that year than I do.. mine is only half a coin.
