Another 1814 like the 1815 above: Most of these were struck over planed down Spanish pillar dollars. A few of the details of the previous design still show.

Too many medals and tokens. The OP did specify coins. I think we should try and stick with the original idea.

1811 was where we were up to, jfransch. So, on to 1810. Norway 2 skilling. Quote: Too many medals and tokens. The OP did specify coins. I think we should try and stick with the original idea. But the third and fourth posts in this thread were: Quote: Can we also include tokens, jetons, etc. WOLF
any numismatic item as long as it has a date.So medals and tokens and even paper money are all OK. Not that it makes much difference; medals and tokens with dates on them start to become hard to find from the mid-1700s.

I waited all week last week to post an 1827. We were at 1830 when I left for the weekend. Not only do I miss 1827, but we actually blew through two decades in that time. I got nothing else. Time to sit back an enjoy the ride.

I suspect that from here it may be less like a ride, more like trying to climb an ancient pyramid with four foot stone blocks. One struggling step at a time. I have three more for this century; two are barely readable.

I got from 1806-1799, so give me 3 more and I can take us away from the 17th century
