Also,a question for Moe or JBUCK. Both the 1514 and 1504 have the old Gothic form of the numeral "4" as the last digit of the date. Would that qualify for this thread? It should, since later on (or earlier) I have seen dates in roman numerals, like MDVII

Dave, I'm bidding on a 1515 on ebay, but feel free to pick up another one if you feel so inclined. My auction wont end for another 4 days.

Over the 2 years, we have traveled 489 years back in time, numismatic time. And I've been here since day 2! My first post for this thread were for 1998, and my last was 1548

I won the 1510 today. It is an error coin with "PA" of PATRONA and "islai" of the king's name on the madonna side and "WLAD" of Wladislai and "TRONA" of PATRONA on the shield side.

I'm at home now, the same place where the coin is (have been for the last several hours, but got a little side-tracked reading the forum). Just as I said, however, the decent camera is still eighteen miles away. I suppose I could always try to use our old awful one (there's been a few photos by it in my early posts, until I realised that no pics at all is usually better than these); however, I'd rather wait until I could get the decent one (likely either Monday or Tuesday).

I had no luck yesterday for any of the early 1500's. I will just keep looking and adjusting my list along the way.
