All great points Hock, Stewart, and Ed....

Yes, I agree with the Shepal being pushed in one direction for some reason or another, and Ed added some great thoughts as well....

To add to it, these end of America29, 36, whatever.com, and most of us have seen them, and if you have a radio in your car, and have not been lost on a desert island the last 6 months, you have probably heard the commercials. The Porter Stansberry adds. Sure, the guy has great track record, as he called the fall of many big dawgs, via GM, Fanny and Freddie, and the company that owns all the big malls. So when he said to buy gold and silver, half the world seemed to have bought in. Now then, I did not sign up for his stock tips, but I have watched the video and followed the silver advice, and thought he had many great points. I had already decided to eventually invest in silver and gold before viewing video, but three months after watching it, silver has nearly doubled in price. Maybe I should sign up for his stock tips, and do exactly what the guy is doing within means, as he is only a million times smarter than I will ever be....

The big question, this above, the commercials for gold buyers, and all the other hints, is this GOVERNMENT drivn, if not then who, and what is their motive?

In the end, I like silver. I like to look at it, in many forms and will look at a bubble burst as a time to buy, and rising prices as the time to buy. One day, maybe I will have enough that my net worth has reached a point of later day comforts, just in case we don;t get wiped out in 2012....

I just started unloading low grade Mexican silver, the .100 stuff that would not sell a year ago. Maybe some more foreign bullion less than .999.

My father also told me that in the 60's they ran certain adds during drive in movies like...."Buy coke", flashed very fast, so that the conscious mind would NOT see, but the subliminal mind would catch it. And sure enough, coke sells would shoot through the roof during intermission. It did not matter which item they ran that night, the she-pal would go buy it later in masses....

Now then, that sounds like an urban legend if you will, but I would be very surprised if it was not fact. The gov can make you wear a pink suit with a yellow bow tie if they so choose, and you will think you look good while doing it, lol...

Smelters don't touch 0.100 Mexico silver. I do not have enough posts to dump this stuff here.

I am seriously glad to get rid of it, and get into MS63+ Saints.

Years ago I was talking to a dealer in BH and asked about bars vs bags. He definitely preferred bags; they are easier to assay, and to sell.
Rest in Peace

Today it is valued at US $1.62. That's less than 1/3 of its former WRC value, so it has been devalued by more than 2/3. To really grasp what this means, imagine everything becomming 2/3 more expensive in this country.

Actually, three times as expensive.
