Libertad Pillar of the Community Canada 3692 Posts	Posted 04/14/2011 1:59 pm I wanted to verify the authenticity of a coin after reading this. https://goccf.com/t/86004 So I was wondering if anyone had cracked an ICCS slab and then weighed it? I`m kind of afraid to do this with mine because then it`s just a coin without the grade. Help? Report this Post to the Staff

Remember, a grade is merely an opinion (especially with ICCS). Your coin, if a fantastic grade, will still be a fantastic coin. Why not buy a cheap ICCS coin on ebay, then cut it open so you can weigh the holder? That is what I will do also, but it is better to get a MS coin since worn coins lose some weight from original ones. Report this Post to the Staff
