^^I'm going to take a shot in the dark here, but I'm thinking that the posted requests for pics, mean that they would like to see folks who have new $100's in hand. Not a press release/specimen photo, followed by a link to an article that was posted 1 year ago.
That being said, I too would like to see people post pics of any new $100's that they have encountered in circulation.

I've looked online, and there doesn't appear to be any recent news, nothing related to a release date, or that printing problems have been resolved. Has anyone actually seen one in circulation? I have a grand-kid's birthday coming up, would love to get one from a bank

I usually see new notes pretty quickly after their release but havent seen one yet. I suppose that doesn't mean they aren't out. I also feel the general population is no where near informed enough about this stuff. I remember peoples faces when I'd give them the new 5 and they didn't think it was real. so the fact that there hasn't been any news wouldn't really surprise me either way.

the way I understood it is that these things were in lack of a better term folding up because of the paper/cloth being used to print the new 100's and they had to get that sorted out before they could release them. You would think if they are going to announce a problem, they would also announce a solution also

While I was out today, stopped at a few Mass & NH banks, pretty much the same response from all; "What new hundreds?". One Credit Union in Nashua said end of May is what they were told.
