angel2004 they said they are going to make one as it will take 1 year or less to sort through all the error bills and it would take a person 20-30 years to do the same thing.

I really wonder what caused all the misprints and why it wasn't noticed sooner.

Here is a picture taken at the BEP while those notes were busily being printed... not sure why they have so many errors...

they said the errors were caused by the 2 new security features they have implemented. they are the inkwell and the woven strip on the right side of the bill.

The current 100s have a metal strip already. Will slightly attract a magnet. The other refashioned bills have the strip. I think the new 100 has something on Franklin that is raised from what I remember reading. It just seems so weird that there were no inspections During the printing process

Notes are printed with magnetic ink so all notes are attracted to magnets even the ones without the strips.

Maybe so but in addition to that the $100 has a metal strip that is not visible (like the new 10s 20s etc). It is on the right side of the bill looking at it face up
