Just one man's opinion here...
silver will go to 80 within a year It may still correct lower before rising again, so I wait before jumping full on again. I had about twenty grand related to PM, mostly silver. Took a third of that off at 42. Tempted to buy back now but will wait and see. Would not be surprised t see 32 first

Poked a hole under $39.50, so look out below. Sat on the sidelines when ASEs zipped past $25, and 90% silver past $36. At least I can start buying uncirculated 90%s again. The only things I paid more than $36 oz. are the 15 ATB coins I bought in the last six weeks, and those should theoretically hold their numismatic value. If not, c'est la vie. Until the gold standard is brought back, holding on to my PMs

Rkrj, Per your earlier post on this thread I am curious if you are now starting back to purchasing silver as of 2 PM EDT, 5/5/11? I am currently trying to gather various opinions on when this most recent correction will bottom out... mdpmedia

Broad commodity sell-off this week coupled with a change in margin requirements for silver. Fundamentals still solid for PM growth over the next 2-3 years.
Look at oil! Down 12% this week alone.

1 hour remaining today, Silver dropping like a burning Messerschmidt with a Spitfire on it's tail. Over 11.5% value loss. In one day.

I've been browsing ebay today hoping to pick up some oz's of silver with the recent crash in price, and I'm surprised to find people are still paying like $40-45 an OZ. Starting to fall a bit now that it's later in the day, hoping now's my chance to grab onto some before the next price surge.

Quote: Other than numismatic items, I have not bought bullion silver in years, though I sold some last week... crummy 10% Mexican pesos that smelters will not touch Westwood Arms: I hate those things too, it's the tragic downfall of the Peso, once the world's leading silver trade unit get reduced to that. Hurts though, I sold some silver at $30 in early january waiting for that dang "correction" that never came so two weeks ago I bought in at around $47 an ounce and look what happened! oh well good thing I was still holding on to some silver I bought back when it was around $24 and lower.

Yeah, the "stepping down" of Mexican coin silver contentwas a bit tragic. But the Peso i.e. Mexican economy is in pretty good shape. They just put away 100 tonnes for a rainy day.
