ok ive read throught this entire post and I have a question regarding the 1967 90% silver Kennedy half dollar. now ive checked everything I could and even checked the weight which is considerably heavier then the other half dollars I have. but just shy of the 64 90% I have. can anyone explain this to me because I'm getting the feeling it's the real deal. I'm not sure how to load a picture up here but I have 3 clear pictures of it. please help
Wow, this is one of the most impressive necro-bumps I've seen yet...nearly 8 years! And the last post (before yours) was from a member no longer with us.
For uploading pictures, check the "Tutorials" button on the top of the screen. Hoping you do indeed have the real deal!
Remember that 40% silver Kennedy halves can weigh up to 11.90 grams and still be in mint tolerance. If you have a calibrated balance that weighs a purportedly 40% silver half at over 12.0 grams then you have something to investigate.
