I ended up buying more gold. I truly believe that out beloved dollar will make gold investment a good choice over the next ten years. If I'm wrong then at least I have coins that I love and my coin investment is about ten percent of my mad money liquid retirement money. Thanks for all of your well thought out advice.

Didn't read this entire thread, but you have it right with the Keys. As much as I don't really care about Lincolns any more, a 1909 S VDB in a very nice problem free RD is just going to keep going up in value. People love the RD penny and you're not going to find a better date in my opinion.
