Searched another box of dimes tonight. Managed to pull 2 x Silvers. A 1956 and a 1961. That makes 6 Silvers in the last 2 days from 3 boxes. I will take 2 per box.

Good deal cladhunter, I would take 2 per box myself. Last silver dimes I got a teller had saved them for me.

This one RBC branch I hit up from time to time could only spare 20 rolls of dimes and 20 rolls of nickels this past weekend. I noticed blue writing on 2 of the nickel rolls. Upon closer inspection, the writing said "old". They both were full rolls of pre 1950 nickels, but nothing of much value.

I then quickly checked the dime rolls for blue writing, and bingo, 1 roll says "old" on it. Now I'm thinking jackpot. Every dime in that roll was pre 1970, but only 10 were silver. I was kinda disappointed, but that's still my best roll yet. Previous best was 5 dimes from a whole box, lol.

10 Silvers from 1 roll is a dream. I will take 20% silver find any day. Were there any 1970's in the roll or all 69 and older? Congratz on the nickels as well. I had 2 rolls of nickels a while back that had dates written on them. One roll of dates 1930, 1940, 1950 & 1960. I got all excited and opened the rolls to find a mix load of crap date nickels in each. Nothing older then 1983. LOL! Either someone got to them before me and recycled the rolls or someone figured they would be funny and screw with a roll hunters mind. HAHA! Oh well...on to the next roll find.

Wow. I have been asking for rolls from various branches in my area and just getting 20-30 rolls at a time. I have never been offered a "box". How many rolls in a box?
