This is the case in many other countries across the globe. On a recent trip I took to Europe, while in Rome I was flabbergasted to see how the shops and vendors sell fake knock off soccer (football) jerseys for less than 1/3 the price of a real jersey. What amazes me if that the authorities don't do anything to curb this behavior, they are selling these in brick and mortar stores all over the city, I'm not talking some back alley street vendor.
