1973-D Jefferson nickel Seems fitting that we are posting the Jefferson nickel on 4th of July as Thomas Jefferson was the principal author of the Declaration of Independence.

I haven't decided yet. There are too many choices. I have a BU '50D.. but that's in the other album. ..Break open a 50's proof set? I have extras for a few years.. If&when I do score a cheap 7070 on ebay or somewhere, it'll be simpler just to grab a nice '64 from the Big Blue Jar where all the pocket change Jeffs end up.
