I recently acquired an 1886 dime (maybe G-4), but I am not sure what variety. It might be a knob 6, but T4 or T5?

I believe this is a T5
In the T4 the outer ear detail forms a D shape.
This one does not so I believe its a T5
This is only my opinion

It gets tough.

The inner ear points to a T5. The T4 is more of D shape

And the top left leaf points slightly below the I in DEI on the T4. And the one above seems to point at the base like a T5.

But, the bump on the back of the the bun toward the top is more like a T4.

But, IMO, it is a 1886 T5 Knob L6.
