I was really tempted to shoot on a 3 piece 1984 P, D, S, unc set it sold for melt. Good for you on your purchase.

picked this up yesterday at an estate sale for $375, I'm pretty sure the 1/2 is 90% on these?

You are correct, this and the 1982 half are the only 50 cent pieces that were made in 90%. A good score as the gold piece alone is worth more than your purchase price in gold value.

And here it is, the most recent modern commemorative I have gotten from the mint the 2011 Medal of Honer dollar. Now you probably thought I was finished didn't you. In review besides the Atlanta Olympic dollars I have missed two types so there will be two more days before we put this thread to bed.

This 1987 Constitution Dollar looked really milky when still in it's capsule but it's kinda cool looking photoed outside.

1988 Seoul Olympiad dollar This should complete the modern dollars (except for the 8 Atlanta's) until next year when the mint produces more. Thanks for your comments.
