Just remember, that is the ratio in your part of the country. The ratios could be different in other parts such as in the western part of the country. The interesting thing I see here is you are finding less large dates from all 3 mints. It has always been said that there is an equal amount of large and small dates so neither one is more uncommon than the other. This would be an interesting project to continue and have more people involved.
Good point. It would be interesting to see other data from different parts of the country. Plus, any information on the time frame when the mint was testing out the aluminum pattern would help tell when the switch-over happened.
