I would like to purchase a scale to weigh some of my coins. I have a few that I am not sure if they are silver or the nickle mintings. I found their weight in the coin book so I would like to weigh them to properly identify them.
Also I would like to use it on silver medallions. I have two medallions that are supposed to be 1 oz of fine silver. I purchased them out of the "junk" basket at a coin store. After looking at them I swear one of them is not as think as the other....
I would also like to use it so I do not get any counterfit coins. I bought one panda in the past but I think I was lucky on that one. Want to make sure in the future.
Does any body have any recommendations?

I picked up an American Weigh Scales, Inc AMW-100 But I would strongly suggest getting one that weighs to the hundredth. i.e. 3.43 grams

I got a generic scale off ebay, it measures 0.01g to 300g. It's cheap, and works great.
