Sooo ... here is a key date to the series in a PCGS holder ... indeed a tough series for me to grade ... wondering how you folks will do with this one?

I'm going to say it's an XF-45 based on the wear in the hair underneath LIBERTY. Very nice coin though..

I'd have to go with AU-50 at least! Maybe AU-55?

AU55 easily. I just sold a filler 1886 Liberty nickel that I got from a junk coin box for $57

i would guess ef40. the reverse brings it down, imo. especially the hits to the "e" and "s" of states.

I'm with Johnny: AU-50.

I really like the detail but the lack of any luster (it may be the picures?) look like it's been cleaned.

You folks are good. Plenty of original luster ... just did not show up in my poor photos.
