Sorry to hear that some of the other people who went to the seminar went without the seriousness needed to make the time there count.

I know this is not the case with you, and that no matter what else happens you will grow from the experience both as a collector and as a person"everyone finds out eventually that there are dummies in the world"

My best advice is to make the best of it, pull in everything you can from the experience and stick it out, you won't be sorry you did.

I can tell you right now if you're being picked on a little it's because those other kids see you as a challenge and that is because that is exactly what you are, a challenge to their maturity,their knowledge and their self esteem.

I for one am proud as can be of you, and I like the fact that others see you as superior.

Time for you to actually pay some attention to the writings of the great man you quote in your signature.

Maimonides drew sharp distinction between evil that humans bring upon others, and evil they bring upon themselves. Your peers, in their immaturity, bring evil upon you because they haven't yet learned what "evil" actually is. You, by allowing their inconsequential actions to determine your behavior, bring evil upon yourself.

Theirs are the sins of the unknowing innocent. You know better, and you're about to let stuff that just_doesn't_matter take you from a great goal in your life.

Which is the greater evil, and who is the stronger, you or them?

It's time for you to find someone with some sort of authority, and ask them if harassment is part of the ANA curriculum.

I also think you should approach someone of authority and bring up this harassment. That place is supposed to be a real adult type of atmoshere and not a playground for immature idiots. You really should bring this up to someone since it ruins the entire situation for many others now and in the future.
It's really difficult to understand why anyone would bring someone to a place like that with that type of attitude but there are people like that everywhere. Naturally it is difficult to avoid such morons so going to someone of authority just has to be done. For your sake and many others in the future.
Please keep us posted as to any results. You may too want to mention to someone of authority that you belong to this forum and are reporting everything that goes on there. The wrong situation mentioned here could spread to many other places and have a real adverse type of advertisement of that place.
