I picked this a long with a bunch other IHC for .75 cents today. I couldn't pass it up since its such an old date. I didn't know if this coin would be considered a G-4. Also I was wondering if it had any chance of being a 1888/7.

Not a chance in the world it's the 1888/7. No 'bump' at the bottom left of the last 8.

The rims are distinct, but LIBERTY is not visible, so it qualities as a G4. Great pickup for 75 cents!
Here's a good grading guide written by an expert on IHCs
Yeah, it's not the 1888/7, but that's an extremely rare coin.

I would agree with a G4 designation.
