I was SOOO ECSTATIC when I found this. Checking ebay, I realized this isn't worth much? :( Sad. Does anyone know for sure and more details?   |

1919 British Half Penny...Sweet Coins, But 1919-1922 seem to be the most common Half Pennies. I Ended up finding one in a random Box at a pawn shop for 10 Cents(1920)

Any idea on the value? I was hoping it was older than the Barber half, nope, just a stupid penny :(

Its probably Valued around $1 or so...not too high in demand and I was reading the 1919 can be found in Brown/Red pretty easily for reasonable prices.
Still something cool to set aside, British Half Pennies just have a cool feel to them

yeah... but when I saw 1919, I was ecstatic, such is life. Better than 50 cents I guess :)

Very nice!  I would not complain if I found that. It is still a 92 year old coin and there is a lot of history behind it. This coin was minted just after the first Great War, so ponder everything that has happened since then. |

It is a half!....Half Penny! It still is a very cool find! Better than finding a 1998 Half Dollar imo....

Are you sure it's a half penny? I would think a penny would be closer to the size of a half dollar.

Yea its a Half Penny, Have one of each infront of me....the British penny is much larger. The Half Penny is a thinner, lighter coin, but the same circumference as the 50 cent piece

I have nice set of pennies and a partial set of half pennies. I dig 'em! I don't have the 1919 half so it would have been a nice find for me.
I don't see anything but "if" it is a penny check to the left of the date for a mint mark. For 1919 the "H" and "KN" both bring a nice premium.
