Alladin, Thanks for this topic and thanks to all who are posting. This is helpful beyond words to newbies and also people who have been collecting for a while but do not easily recognize different types of cleaning. NooHope, I can't tell the 2 cent piece has been whizzed from the photo. What am I missing. I am subscribing to this topic. I will have to dig out some coins that were bodybagged over the years and post some pics with the reason.

The pic was taken before I had any skill with the camera.
I will be retaking pics of my problem coins when I get back on land in about 5 more weeks.
I was going to do this for my web site anyway, so when each is complete with the diagnostics I'll post then here as well...
