I've been in the grocery business for the past 40+ years. Other side jobs include: cold-forging press operator, tax preparer, carpenter (deck building company), and also had my own window cleaning business for about ten years.

Currently in between full time jobs. I'm a auto parts specialist part time at the moment. Still putting my applications in with my fingers crossed. Most of my work history has been in Metallurgy (15 years). Yard truck operator for 2 years. Tell ya what, I miss the days when a fella could walk in a place and fill out a page or two application and get a call back in just a few days!

Late thirties, I had a plan to retire at 55 but my new love of coins may keep me working longer. Currently an engineering manager at an aerospace mega corp.

Late thirties. Started out as a General Contractor, started specializing 6 years ago and got into Ceramic Tile and Hardwood. When I'm not doing that I'm Senior Captain and Training Officer with our Fire Department. I have been with my wife for 19 years and have three kids. When I find the time I split up my hobbies between woodworking, coin collecting, and my firearms collection.

Awesome thread that I really never noticed before. I am a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at a major medical facility in West TN. I also collect vintage Star Wars toys, but they have taken the back seat since 2011 when my father gave me his coin collection. I'm 39 with a wife and little girl. My little girl loves coins. For Christmas, Santa put a 5 oz copper round (1929 incuse Indian style) in her stocking. Boy, was she excited!

This is a neat thread. It is really fun to see what everyone does for a living.
I actually work for a well known thrift shop and handle an account for my state attorney generals office auctioning off abandoned safety deposit box contents online. I get mostly coins so...technically I'm a numismatist. I really love it. I get a bunch of other stuff too. I really love vintage and antique stuff.

20 year old student here. Which is unfortunate because it's definitely a rural school and I have no banks to go ask for boxes of coin to CRH. My major is Actuarial Science with a Minor in statistics. I applied for a statistics internship with ESPN. Hoping hard for that right now! Can't wait until my next break, looking forward to some CHR
