Quote: My other job I tell people was "Wild Life Management" actually I was a Middle School Teacher grades 5 through 8. Believe me kids can do some crazy stuff! I like that, I will have to add it to my resume. I am a high school educator. Before that I played games all day - I was a beta tester for a Computer OEM. Before that I was a drug dealer - I filled orders at a pharmaceutical warehouse. Before that I was paid to help overthrow a dictator - USMC.

I think my pun would have been way over a ten year olds head. Personally I never held much back from my kids. If they asked me a question, I answered them back the best I could and honestly. I didn't hide such topics from them. But I can understand your concern as their are some pretty narow minded people these days.

It is not just my concern, but that of this Community; a community that has rules that you agreed to and allows you (and everyone else) to be here as a privilege, not a right. It may have been over their head, but the ensuring conversation could have prompted questions that a parent should not be obligated to answer unless it is on their own terms. This is a family friendly forum that focuses on numismatics. Period. Being narrow minded has nothing to do with it, we are just trying to make this a place where everyone is comfortable. If you do not like it you can find the door. Continue this conversation and we will show you the door.
