I found this coin while roll searching I dont have high hopes that its a small date (really actually not sure how rare they are). To me the nine looks to be pointed to the number seven. I could be wrong you decide let me know. Also if it is a small date what would the value be for this coin?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Casey Parman

Large date in my opinion also. Although the 3rd picture does resemble a small date, I think it is just the angle of the photo. In all the other pics (especially the first one) it looks like a large date.

In one of the pics, it seems to be a small date but, it must be the way it was taken...large date.
Rest in Peace

Large date. The 7 is not level with the other numbers.

I'm fairly certain the 1970-S small date is a prank that experienced collectors came up with to screw with us newbies.

Low 7 is definitely a large date. The top of the 7 should level with the other digits of the date.
