Here is the 1867 Hong Kong dollar from my FIN's collection. This was collected in the 50's or 60's so I was thinking it is less likely to be counterfeit. The coin weighs in at 27.0 grams and is 39mm in diameter. I have read that this is a super popular coin to counterfeit so I would like to make sure this one is real because I will be selling this one. I was told one other way to tell is to spin it on a hard surface and listen for the "ring" - it certainly has a ring when you do that. Presuming it's genuine, what condition would you guys put on this?
