Hey Guys I'm new to this forum and I am holding a 2000 $1 Mob Of Roos coin, It does not have a double rim but I realised that the side of the coin is very round rather then flat. Is this a mule error coin?
Thanks
Also my camera isn't focusing on the coin so I can not get a clear picture.

also have a good look at the surface. I have a $1 MoR and it has swelled alittle and started to crack across the coin.

aarong: Welcome to the CCF!
You have aroused an interesting question. I think I will ask it for you:
I have seen both rounded and square edged Australian $1 coins. The question: Why the difference?
I have been around coins for decades, and I must admit, I cannot answer that!

It is entirely a matter of how strong the strike is. The harder the strike, the squarer the edges. This is why the coin from the mint sets used to have squarer edges than the circulation issues (and the 2000 $1 is a great example of this).
