Nice coin IndianGoldEagle! I wanted that for a long time, but I got one that is close to your date, older I think. It is my avatar, as well as the first post.

400-350 BC
The oldest coin currently in my possession was a present for my eldest son :) I bought it around 18 months ago and my eldest son will be three in August 2013. Coin is: Anonymous Greek City Issue of Maroneia 400-350 BC OBV: Horse prancing right with monogram below. REV: Linear square contain vine with monogram below. MINT: Maroneia, Thrace
My youngest son's (he is 5 months old) oldest coin is 1870... But the eldest has the stamp/FDC collection, and the youngest has the coin/medal/token collection. Which means that I now need to find an ancient coin for the little chap to add to his already extensive collection.... kids are expensive :P

Flippy's Emperor Gallienus coin inspired me! I wanted one! So.... latest ebay purchase (and my "new" oldest coin!!)!! ebay auction write-up: Quote: An ancient Roman billon (alloy) silver antoninianus of Emperor Gallienus, (Publius Licinius Egnatius Gallienus Augustus) born 218 A.D. Co-ruler with his father, Valerian from 253 -260 and sole ruler of the Empire from 260 - 268 A.D. Struck circa 264 - 266 A.D.
The obverse with the radiate bust of Gallienus facing right. The legend reading:
GALLIENVS AVG[vstvs]
"Gallienus Augustus"
The reverse with Indulgentia, legs crossed, leaning upon column, holding baton and cornucopia wheel at foot, XI in right field. The legend reading:
INDVLGENTIA AVG
"[To the] Indulgence of the Emperor"

That 964 is great. Mine is a widows mite, which are supposedly from biblical times.
