I have more than 1000 coins and I'm kinda worried that maybe I have a little bit too much of my coin collection.

Well, thanks for this poll! Now I know that I'm "normal" and in fact, I'm in a very good company..

Just shy of 10,000 at the moment.

511 Canadian Coins
271 US coins
500+ World Coins from all my travels

What started as keeping change from all my trips and having a coin jar for loose change has definitely gotten out of control...haha

Interesting question Colhand1. I counted my rolls as 1 count per roll.

I have many rolls in my collection as well, but the initial question is How many coins in your collection. Therefore I have to say that I easily have well over 5000 coins.

Yes thanks, I was just thinking of the same kind of poll just to get a measure of my addiction, and just like the others I have 1400 cataloged and a big pile of silver, foreign, and extra stuff. One day I will organise it.
Thanks, great poll ! One worry, asking here, its kind of like asking if there is merit in drinking in a bar.

Oh, Lord, who counts that high? I have been collecting for 46 years. My first love were Lincolns and I had the opportunity via the family business to collect BU rolls back in the 60s. My oldest is a 35. Heck I have a Mint sewn bag of 1943S pennies. That is 1000 coins by itself. The only rolls that are in original unsearched condition are the 55 and 69s. You better believe I tore through those looking for Doubled Dies! I honestly don't know how many coins I have. A guess would be 70 to 100k?
