@boobs09,I just ordered the F15 also and it says in the pamphlet that they will send 1 coin a month so I don't expect 10 to show up at my door even though I wish they would, as I hate waiting.
I suspect that RCM has some mechanism in place to prevent people from ordering 1 coin and cancelling but I'm new around here and not really sure.

@boobz09:

For the F15 2012 Subscription, that I started at the end of the 2012, the SML came first, and actually every month I received the coin.
But as other members reported, they had the situation, when the F15 SML came as the second or third coin.
So there is some risk.

Congrats for the F15 SML, Sherwooddavid!

After looking at everyone's customized F15 & up collections I realize that my real interest is in this type of coins and will probably spend most of my time (and money) collecting them.
My initial plan was to try to collect all the F12 & F15 privy coins while also starting my own personal F15-30 collection like other forum members have done.

Now I'm thinking maybe I should attempt to collect the whole F12 & F15 series from the beginning ?

I'm wondering if this would be too ambitious to undertake and it would become mission impossible ?

I know it would be a real challenge but I don't want to start something I can't finish.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of info on the older F12 from 2007-2009 and they may be impossible to obtain.

Anyway,looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Thanks,Sherwooddave

Also, the 2011 F15 is pretty expensive.

The 2007-2009 F12s do not have COAs. I am not sure about the 2010, but the 2011 F15 has COA and there are 2 different COAs. One from RCM and one for Germany. RCM one has a mintage number on it.

You've started right (IMO) from the available 2012 F15. These and up will not be the issue. You will probably spend $100-$125 for each new coin.

But going back to years, 2011-2010 and 2009-2007 will be much more challenging.

So do it by tiers:
Collect 2012 and up, and then (or in parallel, but once a time) start going back.

Yeah that sound like a good plan Silveroid.

So I take it that you think it would be possible to collect the whole F12 & F15 series over time ?

I realize that it would be costly, 81 coins up to and including 2012 at an average cost of say $150-$200 each I'm looking at about $15K over a 5 years year period. I'm sure I would get some cheaper and overpay for others.

My biggest challenge is that I get good quality coins and find a good list to go by.I like a good challenge though,I'm retired and have lots of spare time too.

Thanks,Sherwooddavid

F15 - for sure.
Do not rush here, cause availability is actually the money that you ready to spend. Might happen, that Fxx Privy coins collection lead you to some other coins, and you will be interested to collect them, and it will not be great, if you will leave the F-series with the holes, while moving to something else. Collect by the tiers, expanding.

I agree Silveroid,I'm going to take my time (maybe 1 or 2 coins a month) and concentrate on all F15 & F12. The only other thing I will be doing is a few subscriptions for $20 for $20,$100 for $100 etc.and they won't take much time or effort.
As you say it would be bad if I started to jump around to other coins in the middle of this.
I'm going to concentrate on 2012 first while keeping my eye open for a good deal on Fxx coins from earlier years.
Thanks,Dave

Just wondering if anyone knows what other mints sell the F15 besides the RMC ? I know the German mint sells it.

I think it's the 12th one... as the order aren't updating anymore on the website I can't confirm.
But this is only the 5th one with privy mark.

@Mlalonde1977
I'm curious, where and when did you get it? And how much did you pay (if you want to share)?

I'm on the hunt for this one as well so I'm beginning to look at prices, and the 2007 one is very rare to see for sale.
