Yes, didn't see, that CA mentioned "milk spots". They will write "toning".
Hope, that you ordered it, as the coin appears "Out of stock".

No if they wrote toning then the coins colour has probably changed to a golden hue or the rim has some toning. It's always your call weather you can live with it because after all the coin will be going into your collection. I'm guessing most people would rather have their maples in pristine condition but sometimes you can't have it your way. If your not in a hurry then hold off for the right one. I can't see the coin but if the toning wasn't bad I'd say it was a good deal.
You should watch for the words spotting because one of my last purchases was...I'm not sure I have the right words. Buyer beware? I bought it during their deal but in the end, lets just say I think they got the deal. I can't fault them as it was in their description.

2007 for 109$, I would have pulled the trigger for sure!
I found a dealer which was selling for "reasonable" prices: 1. F12 2008 SML 2. F12 2009 SML 3. F15 2010 SML 4. F15 2011 SML 5. F15 2012 SML
I just received them today, but unfortunately, the F12 2008 and 2009 are in really bad shape! Fingerprints and big white area on the coin (one is 1/4 of the coin).
So I was just hoping they were ok, because the seller still have a few on stock, but with this it's not even an option! :(
The 2010, 2011 and 2012 are in nice condition (no COA tough), but I was more excited with the F12 ones...

Yes the dreaded finger print is an eyesore. Would you believe me if I told you my buddy bought a farewell to the penny set with finger prints on 2 of the coins? He didn't bother checking both sides when he bought it. I have no idea why someone would have he need to touch that coin with their fingers. Does the queen or king look that good?
I don't believe the earlier fabulous coins came with any COA. I could be wrong but I believe they were commissioned from a buyer in Europe and any coa would be from them. It's hard to find these coins in great condition as maples are very soft and prone to wear, even from a little handling.

Wow fingerprints on the penny set is even worse. Bullions (or even privy) I understand a bit more as they are bullion, but anyway it's just bad that the sellers don't describe it that way.
I mean, you pay in the hundreds for coins and they arrive in very very bad shape... this is crap! Anyway, I contacted him, and will see what will be his answer but I paid with Paypal so I will contest for sure. I mean, it's not a small milk spot on one side, it's several "splash", fingerprints, etc. These are not worth more than bullion value in this condition!

I couldn't believe it myself. I felt bad for the guy he paid close to 400. I have no idea what the seller was thinking when he decided to open those little capsules and touch the coin....It hard to imagine what was running through his head.

As a rookie here I think I better watch myself and ask a lot of questions when buying coins or I could easily end up with a bad coin.
I feel bad for you TIPIT, hope everything works out !

and yet... we see it on the 'shopping channel - Coin Show' all the time. What is a 'newby' to think when they see a so called expert handling coins bare-handed on TV.

Yes, but Bromberg only handles by edges and not on the face on the coins. Many people feel they have a better grip with bare fingers. He should says it's unadvisable to touch coins out of there capsule. After reading this forum for several yrs, and various sections, many collectors admit to preferring to use bare hands to handle coins. Again only by their rims. Yes I agree fingerprints are unsightly.

I'm hoping someone can answer this question for me.
Do the F15 sets come with just one "Ownership Certificate" with the number on it ? I've bought a couple F15 coins and they had the info card but no COA with a number on it. Basically I guess I'm asking if each individual F15 coin has its own COA with number ? Thanks

I had several of the coins before I quit. I had the F15 Maple, ASE, Britiana, Plilharmonic, F15 eagle, F15 Rhino. They all came with the collector cards in a square cap in a silver envelope. No COA for any of them.

Thanks Liverpool,I kind of figured that was the case but I thought I'd ask. I actually bought 3- 2011 F15 coins on ebay and they had no individual COA card but the guy gave me the Ownership Certificate with the number on it that come with the set. I'm learning !lol Thanks again
