@LM - anyone can phone RCM and find out what the 2014 F15 will include and are welcome to post the list here :) I did it last year and posted on this forum somewhere around page 19 or so... I no longer have any interest in the F15's as I collected and achieved what I wanted. Previous years' F15 sets seem better than what was issued for the 2013 set. We'll see what RCM decides for 2014.

@ivanrob
Leuchttturm or Lighthouse sells some very nice 20 quadrum holder boxes with a nice piano finish that I personally use. The boxes come in a variety of colours but I prefer black. Very classy looking.
You can pick them up from a well known auction site that starts with the letter "e", for about $60usd.

Is the new 2014 maple leaf F15 privy coin going to be a bullion finish or a frosted look?

Ok I caved in called my MC rep. Here is the 2014 F15 list, for those who want to spend 3x the cost on bullion :-) Based on the 9 existing images on the RCM website, I've marked the known Privy coins with a "P". The rep could not tell me any more info at this time, including whether the Maple Leaf will be frosted or not, but I strongly suspect it will be frosted with the privy for 2014. F15 for 2014 ============ 1. Canada - Maple Leaf (P) 2. UK - Britannia 3. US - Eagle 4. Rwanda - Impala (P) 5. Austria - Philharmonic 6. China - Panda 7. Canada - Peregrine Falcon 8. Australia - Kangaroo 9. Mexico - Libertad 10. Armenia - Noah's Ark 11. Belarus - Ballerina 12. UK - Lunar Horse 13. Laos - Tiger 14. Ukraine - Archangel Michael (P) 15. Canada - Bald Eagle

Thanks for calling ep7!! Bald eagle and Peregrine falcon... RCM trying to push their own bullion... bleh! Lunar horse... how come these bullion can be included in a Fabulous 15 of the world when they have not even one full year of history?!!

@TIPIT Agreed. RCM is stooping low to sell their wares, because they are now in mass production mode and are trying to play the volume game, while attempting to keep their prices high to give the air and illusion of prestige. Unfortunately they lost that earlier last year some time, in my books. Recently, I've been ramping up with the RAM and Perth mints from Australia, and the Polish mint. Some excellent strikes and their boxes and packaging are light years ahead of what RCM is offering. It's just like Canada to always finish 4th.

To push your own basic bullion to this "supposed-to-be-prestisious" set is wrong decision that RCM made. The F15 SML - yes, this is the flagship bullion. But 2 others, non-privy for $94? Why? I would understand if it due corruption: some 3-rd party manufacturer paid good money to someone to include these coins, but sure this not the case. Do they lack money to order, re-pack and resell word nice bullion coins? Really do not get it.

Waking up an old topic. The F15 collections were a love / hate thing for me. Some of the coins were exceptional....others just bullion. I was on ebay just now and found a complete set with the box with a start price of $474.95 USD, two days left and no bids. Search this to see: Rare 2013 F15 Faboulous 15 Canada Silver Maple It's heart breaking to see someone take a hit like that.

Does anyone know where one can order, in Europe or anywhere, a reasonably priced 2016 F15 Silver Maple Leaf. I agree, the Canadian Mint does seem to have gone crazy with special issues but if you look at it from the stand point it's only a metal shop putting out a product to sell and make money, it makes since for them but not for the collector. I have been collecting Canadian coins for the last 55 to 60 years and except for the Silver Maple leafs stopped buying the new issues at year 2000. I just couldn't afford to keep it up.

 to the CCF, Dave I think, it is too early for 2016 f15 Sub (and SML) to appear on the secondary market - it probably just launched. Since on this forum, the 2012 F15 subscription was the last, that widely discussed - I assume that people stopped to by this subscription. You might try contact RCM and ask about this subscription, order and cancel after SML arrived. In Europe - I remember people searched in German dealers websites - there these subscriptions found.

After 3 years, going deep into the shelf, I found the case with: RCM F15 Maple Leaf watchdecided (for first time) to open it ant take a look at the details. So on the obverse is well known Maple Leaf, all surface frosted finish, no surprises. But the reverse (of the watch) looks like this: I very curious, what this N#1 should represent:is this serial number of specific watch, or this is the model number? Does someone know the answer? Which number do you have on these watches?

Wow! That could be something - although my gut tells me that if it would be a serial# wouldn't it be like 0001 - not just No. 1.
