I really thought that picture was a joke. That can't really be one of the fab15 coins?!

Yup, sorry to tell you it is.
its now my least favorite of the Fab15. Managed to beat the almost as bad 2011 Britannica.

How did England screw up 2011 so badly?
Have you seen the 2010 and 2012 coins? They are fantastic.

@jpaiva83 I love the 2011 Britannia! Sure you have to view it at an alternate angle for the effect to be realized but they did steal the idea from the Canadian 1998 Skiing Proof 50ct piece designed by D.H. Curley. Extremely hard to pull the design off but the concept was surreal and definitely one of a kind. Technically speaking of course.

When did your zebra arrive? I'm still waiting for that one to arrive...although not with any excitement. Will probably show the Protea side rather than the Coetzee side in the display box.
Rest in Peace

Got the Coetzee coin yesterday too, and called to complain.
A) it's sterling - 92.5% silver (doesn't qualify for Tax free)
B) I didn't 'scale' it, but I'm sure it's 1/2 oz or less
C) it's $89.95 + tax = $102

summary: paid about $200/oz on this one - and the worst part....Nobel prize winner or not...it's not a
nice coin design.

Note: my Zebra one arrived about a month ago.

^Brutal, I thought the point of this set was to be 1oz 99.99% silver coin bullion?

So did I, that too was part of my 'complaint'. This is the 2nd one that wasn't a full ounce either sterling or 99.99... but I had it in my mind when I ordered the "Fabulous 15" that Fabulous really meant they were "the best in the world". To me 'Fine' silver or 99.5 or better was understood. (Silver Maples and only a few select other producers are actually 99.99%...and most coins of 99.5 are considered 'pure'. Sterling being the exception at 92.5% as a tradition only)

@jpaiva83 Hmm, hope no one stole it out of the mail box, that would be sad and frustrating. I wonder if the RCM would send another if it did indeed get delivered? Suppose anything is possible with enough money!

@RogerD, Has the coin been shipped to you? You can check by going through your order history at the Mint's website.

Its happened in the past where I would get a later coin and then an earlier one.
For example, The maple leaf was the first coin I received. The second coin I got was the USA Eagle. The eagle is the 3rd coin.

well, I don't feel so bad after seeing this 'asking price' of $118.60 on ebay for the Coatzee and two of them sold for $100 and $110 6 months ago (see "2-sold" on item description)

@jpaiva83

Today the RCM rep told me the coins had been sent but that the F15 sub was on a separate account. Regardless I found everything on the RCMs website that was supposed to have shipped but there is a possibility that they were shipped to a pre-existing address. To note all the other coins had been shipped to the appropriate address.

RCM are doing a search to find where the coins were sent as well as sending a letter to be signed by me verifying that I had not received the coins, at which point I must send it back to them. Then they can send replacement coins, so I don't expect to see those coins until Sept or October at this rate.

Dang, the Devils working hard to keep me from this set!

@ RogerD, I've checked my order status on the mints web page. The last five coins say the same thing.
Status: Processing.

The coins that I have already have says something else.
Status: Shipped.

Also, my credit card has not been charged for the missing five coins, so I am confident that, at least in my case, the stuff just hasn't been shipped yet.
