I would like to know any information anyone can give me about this 1859 canadian dime , as you can see it is dirty and I do not want to clean it , The H at the end of elizabeth has the top filled in could this be a rare find and would it have any value.

well this coin is 80% silver...not a very good grade..somewere between EF and VF..nothing too great. the filled in H is just mint-error in the dye process, doesn't really add any extra value.. at todays silver prices it's worth atleast 20x face value..so about $2 or so.

It's a nice one for those collecting mint varieties. Maybe a dip in acetone might remove the gunk without damaging the surface.
