I'm not a nickel person, but I'm just starting to get into roll hunting so I should probably learn a thing or two about grading them.

Just pulled this one out of a roll and couldn't believe it was a '38. Grade?

EX 45, 38's tend to be like that sometimes. I can tell you from experience that I have never pulled a 38 that looked anything like a 39. For some reason 39's tend to wear a lot more than the 38's. At least that's what I've found.

AU-55 IMO. I found a 1940 a lot like that, but yours has fewer marks. Nice.
