Is there any info on this coin or medallion.

Early exlorer Giovanni Coboto sailed for France was Italian , We were taught he was Jaques Cartier in school interesting how that got switched. If I am wrong let me know my History ma need refrehsing

I believe the medal depicts John C Abbott
In 1891 he became the third PM
Giovanni Caboto aka John Cabot "discovered" Newfoundland
