It is a 50 Yuan 5 Oz panda coin. If authentic, it would be made of .999 fine silver. This is a reproduction made in the style of a 50 Yuan 5 oz panda - the lack of the 50 Yuan denomination on the coin means technically it is not a fake, at least that is the case in China, and the makers are in China are technically not breaking any laws.
