Seeing as a couple people already guessed correctly, the grade came back as an AU55. This is s nice coin.

You got robbed,..there is hardly a hit on that coin, full 'LIBERTY' 2 or 3 diamonds showing and only a AU55.

Very nice! Based on the one pic, I saw slight wear on highpoints like the brow, cheek, ribbons.
I thought AU58 too; AU55 is probably undergrading.

There is 4 diamonds on the ribbon. I wished for a 62BN, but an AU58 would have been the right grade. AU55 is what it is....not like I am going to crack out and submit again.

This was submitted with four other IHC's. Will post pics when I have them in hand. Would definitely be an interesting grading fest.

AU55, slight rub on the diamond band, still a beauty!

I read through a couple times, I don't see what grading company but maybe I missed the obvious. Anyway, you have a nice coin there. I think that it should have got the highest AU grade since it has no problems and great eye appeal and just the slightest hint of wear.

edit:
You vs PCGS - IHC Doh!
Obvious enough.

It looks a lot more like a 58 than a 55 to me as well.

Yeah, I'm surprised it just got a 55 and not a 58. I didn't think PCGS was that tough!

Meh I got this one wrong... thought at least MS60.

AU55 really seems weird to me which I guess you guys agree with, but what do I know LOL.

NickelGuy - PCGS graded this (see thread title).

In the lot of coins sent in, there was also a 1919 Lincoln, 1917 & 1917 D type 1 SLQ's, and some other IHC's. When I get time, I will take some pics and let everybody guess the grades.
