Picked up 20 satin sets in the last few months, will eventually have a roll of each. I think these will be the most valuable in the long run.

Forgive me, but what is a satin set?

Weezer, satin is another type of finish--you have the circulated strike, proof strike, burnished, satin, etc.
Nice going, oober. Once my mint sets come in, I'll get the proof and some rolls from P & D. I bet they will be in demand in the future. They are beautiful, finite, and copper.

I picked up the 2009 P&D mint wrapper rolls for all 4 designs from ebay, none on the boxes, but the mint rolls intact. The birth years were the hardest to find at a reasonable price. I picked up the P&D 2010 also, placed them all in plastic nickel tubes to keep the wrappers tight and able to be handled without breaking open.

Thanks to all for the push: I picked up the 2009-S silver proof set today for $65. Last week I purchased the 2009 P&D sets for $25. I'm closer to completing a Lincoln commemorative silver dollar and penny set.

I read this thread and realized I didn't have a one so I went to my LCS and bought all 8 P&D mint rolls. I rarely see these in circulation anymore. I don't really see the shield pennies either for that matter.

Good going, LargeCents. I'm going to add P@D rolls for each design to my collection and then pick up a BU commemorative half once I have all the pennies. They are outstanding in the proof strike.

I don't have the proofs ( or proof set).

But I do have them in MS-63. They have a real nice tone. Some are shining brownish red. I had them in a small container since 2009 till 2013. They now in a row mix with 2010, 2011 and 2012's.

Yes, beautiful coins. I especially like the proof cents. They are outstanding. So glad I finally got them.
